Good design should honour principles of life, nature and the different ways we experience space through the senses: not only visually, but also through materiality, atmosphere and sound. It should balance control and spontaneity, bringing clarity, emotion and meaning into everyday life.

That is the approach we pursue at FINO, an independent studio founded by architects Fernando Frank and Vanessa Larsson, focused on residential renovations. The name reflects the way we approach design itself: with finesse, precision and sensitivity in the way spaces are shaped and experienced.

A well-judged proportion, an opening for light, a texture or a layout that simply works can make daily life run and feel better. The sum of small decisions made with care is what makes the difference.
